academic year moral lesson and education advice

The academic year will soon resume, so please parents sit down with your child for 5 minutes and explain that being very tall, short, chubby, skinny, black or white is no joke. That there is nothing wrong with wearing the same shoes every day. Explain to them that a used backpack carries the same dreams as a new bag. Teach them not to exclude someone because they are “different” or don’t have the same opportunities as others. Explain to them that teasing hurts…and that they are going to school to LEARN, NOT to compete.
YOU AND I HAVE THE SAME VALUE!

According to psychologists, there are four types of intelligence:

1) intelligence quotient (IQ)
2) emotional quotient (EQ)
3) the social quotient (QS)
4) the adversity quotient (AQ).

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ): This is the measure of your ability to understand, solve mathematical problems, memorize and recall subjects.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ): it is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others, to keep time, to be responsible, to be honest, to respect boundaries, to be humble, authentic and considerate.

3. Social Quotient (SQ):
This is a measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.

People who have high EQ and SQ tend to go further in life than those who have high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools emphasize improving IQ while EQ and SQ are downplayed.

A high IQ man may end up being employed by a high EQ and SQ man, even if he has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your character; your QS represents your charisma. Adopt habits that will improve these three Qs, but especially your EQ and SQ.

EQ and QS allow you to manage situations better than IQ.

Don’t teach children to just have a high IQ, but also to have a higher EQ and SQ.

Now there is a fourth:
A new paradigm…

4. Adversity Quotient (AQ):
The measure of your ability to get through a difficult period in life and come out of it without losing your mind.
AQ determines who will give up in the face of adversity and perhaps even abandon their family.

To parents :
Expose children to other areas of life besides studies. They should enjoy manual labor (never use work as a form of punishment), sports and art.

Develop their EQ, QS and QA. They must become multi-faceted human beings, capable of doing things independently of their parents.

Finally, do not prepare the road for children. Prepare the children for the road.
