This year your organization is strategizing to expand their market segment to other products. To do so, management puts in place certain activities to support the final decision of the board in the following areas:

– Information processing and personnel management
– Visual representation of information

SECTION A: ORGANISATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE WORK

QUESTION ONE: INFORMATION PROCESSING AND PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT (25 marks)

At the end of each year, the human resources department of your organization always allocates some bonuses to motivate the personnel. The modalities for allocating these bonuses include the following;
If the worker is a managerial staff who has served for up to 2 years, he/she is granted a bonus estimated at 20% of his/her salary. If he/she has served for more than 2 years up to 10 years, the bonus is estimated at 25% of the salary. For those who have put in more than 10 years, the bonus is a 13th month salary.
If the worker is a supervisory staff, his/her bonus will be 10% of the salary in the case where his/her length of service is less than or equal to 2 years. In the case where his/her length of service greater than 2 years to 10 years, the bonus is estimated at 15% of the salary. If otherwise, the bonus is put at 20% of the salary.
Finally, for the rest of the employees who have served for less than or equal to 2 years, a bonus of 8% is allocated. Meanwhile, those whose longevity is superior to 2 years receive a 10% bonus.

QUESTION TWO: VISUAL PRESENTATION OF INFORMATION (25 marks)

In your organization, workers go on retirement at the age of 50. In order to avoid the positions of those getting towards the age of retirement from being vacant for some time, your manager asks you to get the statistics of the available workers. Your data collection gave you the following grouped statistics:
Age group 20 to 25 = 02 workers
25 to 30 = 10 workers
30 to 35 = 16 workers
35 to 40 = 12 workers
40 to 45 = 06 workers
45 to 50 = 04 workers
