As a graduate with an advanced vocational certificate, the “C & L” fashion house where you dropped an application for a job wants to test your skills by offering you a contract to sew 2700 dresses for their customers.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • The dresses will be launched on multiple lines by a team of nine (9) workers.
  • The workshop allocates the speed below to the various workers, against the names respectively:

WORK REQUIRED:

1) Calculate:

a) The base of fragmentation of the team,

b) The work value of a dress

c) The total time needed to sew the 2700 dresses.

d) The average speed of the team.

e) The number of dresses to be sewn by each worker, for a period of 21 days.

2) Complete the table below extracted from the balancing chart.
