The candidate will use concrete batched per m3 with 300 kg of cement, 400 litres of sand, 800 litres of gravel and 180
litres of water.
From the slump test cone, the candidate will calculate in advance a reduced proportion of cernent, sand, gravel and
mixing water required for a test while considering shrinking due to mixing of concrete which is often evaluated at 25%.
The candidate will do at most three tests and at the end of each test complete the table 2 below. At the end, the
candidate will determine the workability of the concrete and qualify each batch.

▪ 21 kg river sand
▪ 36 kg of gravel 5/15
▪ 15 kg of cernent CPJ425
▪ 05 litres of water.
