This subject should enable students to:

- Plan meals in courses to different individuals and meals for special occasion
- State notion on budgeting and plan budget using shopping list
- Describe drawing-up test by using sample forms designed for practical tasks
- State the different between food spoilage and food poisoning
- Identify methods of food preservation
- State methods of cooking leftover foods
