SUBJECT
A manufacturing enterprise receives a command of 8500 gowns: “EVAN” MODEL knowing that:
The enterprise has a team of 10 workers working at an ideal speed; the launching is done in simple continuous
lines, Range ±6%.
> Garments launched in “packets of 10”.
> Daily working time:
• First shift: 7:30am to 12:30pm.
• Afternoon shift: 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
– Workers work 5 days per week.
– Due to the adaptation, the work is made in the following speed: 1st day: the production will be 95% and
100% for the other days.
WORK REQUIRED:
From the model and the mounting range given:
1) a) Determine the passing time of the first article as well as the evacuation rhythm of other garments;
by calculating the pitch range (BF) at ±6% and the daily working time.
b) Calculate the number of packets and the production done on the 1st day: 95% and 100% the other
days.
c) Calculate the fabrication deadline expressed in days, hours, minutes and seconds.
2) Establish the product analysis.
3) Present the balancing chart and calculate for each post:
a) The load.
b) The saturation rate.
c) Install the workers at their posts,
c) Calculate the effective time of each post.
4) Present the theoretical implantation.
