1.4.        PLASMOLYSIS

When a cell lies in a solution of high osmotic concentration that in cell sap, the cell loses water and the vacuole shrinks and it pull the cytoplastic tiny away from cell wall. This shrinking of cells is called plasmolysis and the cell is referred as plasmolyzed cell.
