(b) When a white-winged Butterfly was crossed with a red-winged Butterfly, all the F, offspring had
patches of red and white on their wings. When the Fj offspring mated amongst themselves some of
theF2 offspring had while wings, some had red wings while the others had red and white patches on
the wings. Using appropriate genetic symbols and diagrams, explain these results as best as possible.
