Computing technology has become an integral part of our daily lives, rcvolutionisiug the way
communicate, work, and access information. Front the early days of ruom–si/ed mainframe computers to
the compact devices wc cam in our pockets today, the evolution of computing technology has been
nothing short ot remarkable. In this article, we will explore the journey ol computing technology,
highlighting its significant milestones and the exciting possibilities it holds for the future
1 he Birth of Computing Technology: The birth of computing technology can he traced hack to
the mid–20th century when the first electronic computers were developed. These massive machines,
powered by’ vacuum tubes, were incredibly slow and limited in processing power. 1lowevcr, they laid the
foundation for what was to come.
Mobile Computing and Smart Devices: The 21st century witnessed the rise of mobile computing,
characterized by the proliferation of smartphones and tablets. These portable devices, equipped with
powerful processors and internet connectivity, have become an essential part of our lives. They provide
instant access to a vast array of applications, services, and information, enabling us to stay connected no
matter where we are.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: The current era is witnessing rapid advancements in artificial
intelligence (Al ) and machine learning (ML). AI technologies, such as virtual Assistants and autonomous
vehicles, are becoming increasingly integrated into our daily lives. Ml. algorithms arc transforming
industries, making predictions, and recommendations based on vast amounts of duta. As these
technologies continue to evolve, they hold the potential to revolutionize various sectors, from healthcare
to transportsdon.

1. Give the name and the version of the word processor installed in your computer –
