“AYA” TABLE MAT
I. DESCRIPTION: It is a quilted table mat made out of printed fabric. The edges are finished with
plain bias.
II. WORK REQUIRED:
❖ Forming of the quilted table mat using the items given:
*The mat is made of printed cotton fabric, foam, lining and bias.
*To form the quilting; place the foam in-between the printed cotton fabric and the lining
Top stitch the lines following the diagram given.
❖ Trim the edges.
❖ Attach bias on the wrong side of the article.
❖ Snip and turn to the right side.
❖ Topstitch the bias round the article.
❖ * NB: Final measurements of the finished article should be 45 cm by 30 cm.
*At the end of the final article, attach the evaluation sheet, press and fold.
