The UNEB, a national examination body finally published the PLE results 2019 which can be accessed via SMS. PLE (Primary Leaving Examination) is a national exam in Uganda essential to complete primary education. Actually, 695,793 candidates registered from 13,475 centers as compared to 2018 (Where 671,923 from 13,072 centers). 479,131 students came from Universal Primary School while 195,792 from private schools. However 12,293 were absent. In addition to this, the outcome of results indicates that girls performance was far better than boys. If you are a parent, guardian or student and wish to get your results via SMS, kindly:
- Open your message app.
- Then in your message box type PLE (space).
- And finally type your Index number, send to 6600 and happily wait for a reply.
For example the screenshot below shows how to get the results of a candidate with the index number 654321/001 via SMS. Lastly SMS transmissions are at a cost of UGX 500 per student. SMS

Equally note that the results for UCE or UACE can also be accessed via SMS. The procedure is same as above. Just replace the Examination PLE in your message box by UCE or UACE then send to 6600.
