PART ONE:  TOPIC

Mr. Tantoh Emmanuel is a real estate agent and owner of Land Certificate Number 10985/Mezam. The land certificate covers a surface area of 6353 square meters located in Bamenda I subdivision, Mezam division of the North West Region of Cameroon. The client wishes to sell a portion of land in the same Land certificate to Mr. Mbaku Fidelis a native of mankon. A proposed layout plan was then produced by a private surveys consultant as presented in the annex 1.

Annex 2 shows the coordinates of the points of the partitions.

 

PART TWO: WORK REQUIRED:

1. With the rectangular coordinates in annex 2, plot to scale 1:500 on A4 tracing paper the partition Number 4.                                                 (8 marks)
2. Calculate the distances of all the sides of the closed polygon.                         (4 marks)
3. Calculate the whole circle bearings in clockwise direction of the sides of this polygon. (4 marks)
4. Deduce the surface area of this partition.                         (4 marks)
5. Write the distances and bearings to their respective positions on the drawing. 4 marks
